Who writes this?

You do.  This is a blog designed to be "patient-written," or in some cases, written by medical professionals who cannot report what they saw to the proper authorities because it would mean their job.  I am a reporter,  sometimes a commentator, and always interested.  If you are the person to whom these things happened, please say so. If you are not, you must be a personal observer of what occurred, or at least have a true knowledge of the facts.  If you actually saw this happen, or you were the patient, this is an opportunity to tell your story to the world.  Please DO include all the pertinent information, such as your history (as much as you want to tell), names and places, drugs prescribed, and so on, if you know them.  Since at some point I will get inappropriate information (such as a doctor's name from a friend of a friend of a friend), I reserve the right to edit that out.  Feel free to tell how all this affected you. If your story is well-written, I may post it without change. I may also choose to edit the story.  The decision is mine alone.
